Delivering quality and paying attention to detail are essential to me — I believe that great design is defined by care and precision.
Hi, I’m Annika — Senior Product Designer based in Berlin. I design user-centered digital products with a strong focus on clarity, scalability, and long-term impact.
With over 15 years of experience in design, spanning in-house roles and long-term independent work, I help teams transform complex requirements into intuitive, well-structured product experiences. My work sits at the intersection of UX, UI, and design systems always guided by a deep understanding of user needs and business goals.
Currently, I work at Axel Springer National Media & Tech, improving CMS solutions for brands such as BILD and WELT. I focus on solving usability challenges, aligning cross-functional teams, and building consistent, scalable design systems.
My background as an Art Director shaped my strong sense for visual quality, branding, and storytelling. Skills I now apply to creating cohesive product experiences that feel thoughtful and intentional.
Outside of work, I find inspiration by the sea or while exploring new cities. I’m curious by nature and continuously exploring AI-driven workflows to refine how I design, collaborate, and build digital products.
